Belgian dark ale
Embrasse
Beer sommelier Derek Walsh, author of the Beer Styles Book, had a challenge. "Brew a beer I can't put in a category." Thus. It became Embrasse, a heavy and dark beer that, due to the use of different malts, has a complex flavor that is midway between a Belgian Strong Dark Ale and a Stout. Reportedly, Derek is still searching for just the right thing.
"Brew a beer I can't put in a category."
