Belgian Dark Ale
Embrasse Blended
The very first barrel-aged beer from "De Dochter van de Korenaar. The Blended Oak aged Embrasse, is aged in single-malt Speyside Whisky casks, for approximately one year. During this time period, the beer softens with time and absorbs distinct whiskey flavors. Peated Oak Aged Embrasse , the little brother of the blended Oak Aged Embrasse, won the Zythos Consumers trophy in 2011, a motivation for us to delve further into the world of barrel-aging.
"Our gems in beer."
Brew sheet
A superior, wood-aged, full malt beer with bottle refermentation. The beer matures for an average of 6 to 8 months in blended whiskey barrels. The barrel aging allows the beer to take on the rich notes of the whiskey and makes the beer softer and rounder in flavor.
